Some of you I know and some of you may be here for the first time. Let me take the opportunity to say thank you and I hope that you are as pleased with my designs as many continue to be for over 20 years.
I started creating jewelry as an avocation while living in New York City. I discovered it to be a natural gift and have studied jewelry design techniques for a good part of my career.
I am self taught, with formal training as needed to master advance techniques and new approaches that continually develop.
My passion is metalsmithing.
The creative process involves taking the raw materials of precious metal sheet and wire and semi-precious stones and creating designs that reflect contrast; soft/hard , finished/raw, crystals with rubber etc.
I teach privately through workshops that are held at my studio in the country's largest artist colony, The Point, located in San Francisco and through San Francisco City College (see link for class schedules)
